Dorothy Wright Fuqua of Slocomb passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Extendacare Nursing Home. She was 92.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at New Hinson Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth “Sandy” Santora officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Major Wesley Wright and Mae Smith Wright; one son, Charles Skinner, and one sister, Irene Vickers.

 

Survivors include one granddaughter, Leslie Robertson of Columbus GA; two great grandchildren, Charles and Anna Robertson; five nephews, Wayne (Sharon) Barrentine of Slocomb, Eddie (Elaine) Barrentine of Headland, Michael (Brenda) Barrentine of Slocomb, Robert (Nancy) Barrentine of Dothan, and Ronnie Skinner of Faydette; several great nieces and nephews.
