EARL  BAXTER  DURHAM

 

ABBEVILLE. . .Earl Baxter Durham, a resident of Abbeville, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home. He was 72.

            Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2013, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with Minister Bob Blalock and American Legion Chaplain, Marquis Wingard officiating. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

            Mr. Durham was a native of Lexington, Kentucky and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Abbeville Church of Christ and the Bradley-Keller American Legion Post #119. Mr. Durham was an active participant in the Abbeville Senior Center where he enjoyed computers, playing dominos and enjoyed the daily devotion.

            Mr. Durham has no known surviving relatives but had a host of friends in the Abbeville area.
