Earlean Langford Howell passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Southland Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama.  She was 84.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 12:00 and continuing until service time.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Earlean was born September 10, 1931, in Bibb County.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Level Plains for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luman G. and Lena Mae Cochran Langford; her husband, Harmon L. Howell, Jr.; a daughter, Allyson Cook; and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Howell Kirkland (David) of Dothan; three sisters: Betty Bouley (Dave) of Freeport, FL, Sue York of Selma, Ivy Milligan of Selma; a brother, LG Langford (Mildred) of Selma; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
