Ed Thomas of Level Plains, AL, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his home. He
was 71.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 25,
2013 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Mike Foreman
officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday
from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva
Hospice, PO Box 1708, Enterprise, AL 36331.

Ed was preceded in death by
his parents, Clyde and Margaret Thomas and a brother Obie Clyde Thomas.


Survivors include two sons, Eddie Thomas (Rene) Abbeville, AL; Brian
Sellers (Robin) Hattisberg, MS; sister, Dot Brown, Level Plains, AL; four
grandchildren, Eddie and Nicholas Gaglione; Andrew and Callie Sellers; numerous
cousins, nieces and nephews.
