Edward E. Calhoun, a resident of Dothan, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home with his family at his bedside. He was 70 years old. Mr. Calhoun, was born July 14, 1944 to Jessie E. Calhoun and Frances Raily-Calhoun in Houston County.

Mr. Calhoun was a retired contractor. The people that knew Mr. Calhoun knows how much he love yards sales. Mr. Calhoun was a lifelong resident of Houston County.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11:00 a.m. Monday.

Mr. Calhoun was preceded in death by his father Jessie E. Calhoun.

Survivors include his mother Frances Calhoun-Lanton; his wife Gail Clark-Calhoun; a son Joshua Calhoun; a grandson Dylan Calhoun; a sister Martha Conner/Brian Mckown; a nephew Terry Conner; a brother William Calhoun; a sister Laura Galloway/Rudolph and a brother Frank Calhoun.
