Effie Ilean Sanders, age 89, passed away March 4, 2015 at Highland Lake Center. Mrs. Sanders moved to Lakeland 3 years ago from Alabama. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Sanders is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Sanders and her sons, Ronnie and Jimmy Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Bill) LeDoux; her sons, Joe (Elaine) Sanders, Kenny (Alejandra) Sanders, Billy (Joyce) Sanders; her sister-in-law, Mary Lois Tidwell; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Karl Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Hodgesville Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 6 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
The family will be accepting flowers.
