Eldora Barnes Davis

Eldora Barnes Davis, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, June 23, 2014. She was 81.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel on West Main Street with Rev. Steve Merritt and Rev. George Parrish officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Landmark Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1746, Dothan, AL 36302.

Mrs. Davis was born April 26, 1933 in Dothan and lived most of her life in Houston County. She worked in many positions in sales but was mainly a homemaker. Mrs. Davis was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Dothan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Davis; her daughter, Darlene Booth; and her son-in-law, Kenny Parrish.

Survivors include her sons, Tommy Davis of Dothan and Ricky Hall (Elaine) of Jack, AL; her daughter, Debra Parrish of Dothan; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Rayford Barnes of Malvern and J. Lee Barnes of Taylor.
