Eleanor Ruth Grantham, age 90, of Level Plains, Al, passed away, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in a Dothan hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Roger Stone officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tom Grantham.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ruth Bayh, Level Plains; two sons, General C. Ready III (Sarie) Skipperville, AL; Michael Ready, Sr., Level Plains, AL; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Collier, Montgomery, AL; four sisters-in-law, Pauline Strickland; Zeta Hogan; Virginia Melton (Eddie Rushing); Betty Jean Collier.  Her aunt, Ressie Hnatt.
