ELMER  ROGERS  ROBERTS

ABBEVILLE, ALABAMA. . .Elmer Rogers Roberts, a resident of the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility, Abbeville, Alabama, died late Monday night, May 5, 2014. She was 90.

            Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Roberts was born in Ozark, Alabama, daughter of the late Walter Rogers and Lillie Tomlin Rogers. She lived most of her lifetime in Ozark and Eufaula. Mrs. Roberts was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide in Orlando, Florida. She was a member of the Eufaula Church of God. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mixson Roberts, a son, Joby Roberts, and a son-in-law, Olon Napper.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Lillie Ann Diggs (Duane), Eufaula; and Pat Napper, Clayton, AL; two sons, Jason Roberts (Candice), Tampa, Florida; Jerome Roberts (Jenny), Douglas, Georgia; two sisters, Lucrel Martin, Fitzgerald, Georgia; and Emogene Overcast, Lakeland, Florida; a brother, Lester Rogers; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
