Obituary:  Eloise Adams Medley

              Mrs. Eloise Adams Medley, beloved wife of the late Ralph M. Medley, Sr. of New Brockton went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 05, 2014 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 83.

             Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 9 at her home church, Bethany Baptist with Reverend Tony Dye and Reverend Lane Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 – 6 pm.

             Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the New Brockton Senior Citizens Center, 130 Vester Cole St., New Brockton, AL 36351.

             Mrs.  Medley was born March 26, 1930 to the late Thompson Willie (Dock) and Annie Belle Nicholson Adams.  She was a loving wife, mother, granny, and friend to many.

             Survivors include her daughter, Sandra J. Harrison (Bud) of Damascus; her son, Ralph M. Medley Jr. (Kay) of New Brockton; her daughter, Rita Stuckey (Jerome) of Geneva; her son, Reverend Mike M. Medley (Wanda) of New Brockton; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Lucille Driggers and her brother, Tad Adams (Carolyn) all of New Brockton; and a large, loving extended family.
