Evelyn Adams of New Brockton, AL passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in Panama City, FL.  She was 86.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 21, 2014, at Bethany Baptist Church with Dr. Tony Dye officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  New Brockton Senior Citizens, PO Box 70, New Brockton, AL  36351.

          Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, O. W. Adams and grandson, Michael Spangenberg.

          Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Elaine Cook, New Brockton, AL; son, Terry Adams (Melissa), Panama City, FL; 2 sisters, Ruby Bell, Chula Vista, CA, Doris Kendrick, Enterprise, AL; 5 grandchildren, Aubreya and Victoria Adams, Jessica and Alaina Cook, Joseph Spangenberg; 6 great-grandchildren.
