Mr. Fay Edward Cary, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Enterprise on Sunday, August 30, 2015.  He was 86.

Memorial services will be held in October at Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dayspring Hospice, PO Box 311246, Enterprise, AL 36331.

Fay was born March 29, 1929, in Elmira, New York.  He was a longtime business owner of a Lumber and Building Supply Store.  He loved traveling with his wife and was an avid fisherman and golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay Edward and Agnes Anderson Cary; his wife, Barbara Teague Cary; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include 4 children: Robert Cary (Lisa) of Moor Park, CA, Daniel Cary of Alpharetta, GA, Deborah Bartlett (Ron) of Enterprise, AL, and William Cary (Anna) of Italy; daughter-in-law, Beth Cary of Coral Springs, FL; a brother, Roger Cary (Pauline) of Corning, NY; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family thanks Dayspring Hospice as well Ann McClenny for their loving, compassionate care.
