Foy Dominick Anderson, age 72, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her home.


Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, July 18, 2014 at First United Methodist Church Enterprise with Rev. Tonya Elmore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time on Friday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to American Cancer Society, % Linda Andress, PO Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331, American Heart Association, 3338-L Country Club Road, PMB 305, Valdosta, GA 31605, or First United Methodist Church Enterprise, 217 South Main St., Enterprise, AL 36330.


Louise Foy Dominick was born in Montgomery, March 31, 1942.  She was reared in Tuscaloosa, married in Tuscaloosa, and moved as a medical school wife, an intern and residents wife, and as an Army wife for 12 years before settling in Enterprise for the past 30 years.


She was the daughter of Carolyn Petry Dominick and the late Judge Aubrey Dominick of Tuscaloosa.


Foy was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, she attended Mount Vernon Jr. College in Washington, D.C.,  and graduated from the University of Alabama where she was a 3rd generation member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.  Foy was a lifelong Methodist and member of First United Methodist Church Enterprise.


In Enterprise she belonged to and had been an officer in Sesame Study Club and The Sorority.  She loved all sports, but especially Alabama Football.  She was knowledgeable enough to not require a roster on game day, and that included the opposing team as well.


She loved her family dearly as only a mother can.  Foy was a stage IIIb breast cancer survivor.


Survivors include her husband of 49 years 11 months, Dr. Paul Jackson Anderson, Jr.“Jack”; her five children, Beth (Craig) Hardee; Paul III; Carolyn Foy (John); Tom (Christina); Will (Sarah); 12 grandchildren; her mother, Carolyn Dominick, a brother, Aubrey Dominick, Jr. (Janet) as well as one niece and several first cousins.
