Frances Bradburn, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her residence. She was 86.


Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Wright officiating. Graveside services will be held 11 am Friday at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until 2 pm.


Mrs. Bradburn was born November 1, 1926 in Cool Springs, AL and lived there the early years of her life. She resided in Birmingham for over 40 years and was employed as a secretary with Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mrs. Bradburn moved to Dothan in 2000 and was working with her son at Chick-fil-A for the past 13 years. She was very family oriented and loved serving others. Mrs. Bradburn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.


Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James A. Bradburn; her son and daughter-in-law Jim and Lisa Bradburn; her grandchildren, Allan Bradburn and Lee Bradburn and his wife Kaysie; several nieces and a nephew.
