Frances Diane McDougald, age 62, of Geneva, Alabama passed away on November 30, 2015.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Phillip Barnes and Rev. Jake Brady, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Clay McDougald, Steve Davis, Lawrence Howell, Dale Brannon, Chris Brannon and Kenneth Howell.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to the Lytle Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Fund, 701 No. Co. Rd. 65, Geneva, AL 36340, or to a charity of your choice.

Diane was born in Chickasaw, Ala. on June 12, 1953.  She graduated from Geneva High School in 1971 and from Troy State University in 1974.  She was employed for twenty-five years by the Escambia Board of Education as a math teacher at W.S. Neal High School in Brewton.  She was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.  Diane was preceded in death by her father, Harlan McDougald; and her brother, Dennis McDougald. 

She is survived by her mother, Frances McDougald; niece, Lee Ann McDougald Davis, and her husband, Steve; nephew, Clay McDougald and his wife, Celiese; sister-in-law, Ann Barley McDougald; great nieces, Katelyn and Morgan Davis and Charli McDougald; and many loving cousins and friends.
