Mrs. Frances Marie Johnson of Enterprise passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Baptist Hospital East in Montgomery.  She was 89.

 

Memorialization will be by cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.

 

Frances was born December 18, 1925, in Lynn, MA.  She moved to Chicago, IL in 1945 and worked most of her life in the restaurant before retiring to Enterprise, AL in 1995.  She was an honorary member of the Enterprise Women’s Golf Association at the Enterprise Country Club.  She loved her family dearly, and her favorite pastimes were eating out and watching NCIS.

 

She was preceded in death by a son, Forrest “Butch” Johnson III and her ex-husband, Forrest “Froggie” Johnson, Jr.

 

Survivors include two daughters: Louise G. Stanton and husband, David W. Stanton and Patricia R. Kaleta; six grandchildren: Kathryn S. Hummert, Ronda L. Nelson, Diana L. Lockwood, David L. Watson, Steven Johnson, and Michele Johnson; ten great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Gloria Ellers, and her children, Conway Ellers, Jacque Griffin (Johnny Griffin), and her grandchildren, Brian Jones, and Scott Jones.
