Frances Messer Harrell passed away after a brief illness at Extendicare  on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was 90.

Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Johnson officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday, March 27, 2015.

Mrs. Harrell is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Messer, two sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include daughter Kay Bostic and her husband Greg of Dothan; sons Randy Messer and his wife Tam of Dothan; Wayne Messer and his wife Bobbi of Crawfordville, FL; grandchildren Julie Brown, Courtney Laine, Josh Messer, Adam Messer, Emily Chappell, Aaron Bostic, great-grandchildren Jennifer, Kyle, Porter, John Paul, great-great-grandchild Taylor, and several nieces and nephews.
