Gail A. Norton, 68, a resident of Dothan passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at a local hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday December 28, 2015 at St. Columba Catholic Church with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Mrs. Norton was born on November 17, 1947 in Queens, NY and lived the early part of her life there. Her family moved to the Panama Canal Zone when she was 11 where she stayed until moving back to New York at the age of 18. She lived the next 30+ years in New York where she raised her family and was employed with Down State Medical Center as an office manager. Mrs. Norton moved to Dothan in 2003 and was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Robert Norton; daughters, Barbara Norton-Lee and Dawn Wright; a son, Robert Norton; grandchildren, Cassie, Shannon, Brianna, Connor, Damian, and Liam; sisters, Patricia Roach and Nancy Newman.
