Galen C. Gohde, 70, a resident of Dothan passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Peter Wong officiating and Robert Byrd directing.

Ms. Gohde was born October 1, 1944 in South Bend, Washington and lived most of her life in Dumont and Oakland, New Jersey. She graduated from Trenton State University with a degree in Education and was employed with the Oakland City School System as an Elementary Teacher for 34 years. She moved to Dothan 15 years ago and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Gohde; her brother, G. Richard Gohde; a niece, Chantelle Gohde; a nephew, Richard R. Gohde; an aunt, Norma Gohde and family.
