Gary E. Blair, US Army SFC (E-7), retired, of Daleville, Alabama died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 74.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with full military honors and a military chaplain officiating with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at their home following services. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Gary Edwin Blair was born December 27, 1938 in Ravenna, Ohio, son of the late Bruce Edward and Dorothy Rose Blair.  He was a member of the DAV Ozark Chapter.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna Blair; daughter, Donnete Klein (Fred), of Daleville, AL; son, Bruce Blair (Amanda), of Binghamton, NY; four grandchildren:  Dakota Hoomes, Kansas Hoomes, Jon Klein, and Logan Klein, all of Daleville, AL; sisters:  Donna Snowburger (Jim) of Clay, NY, and Pam Tomko (Kenneth) of Hopewell, VA; mother-in-law, Mary Grubbs, of Daleville, AL; sister-in-law, Amy Morgan (Bill), of Griffin, GA; brothers-in-law:  James Grubbs (Patty) of Tuscaloosa, AL, and John Grubbs (Wanda) of Daleville, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
