Gary Lee McKenzie

Gary Lee McKenzie, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Dale Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 65.

Private services will be held at a later date. Byrd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McKenzie was born May 18, 1947 in Maryland and lived in Maryland and Pennsylvania before moving to Dothan 10 years ago.  He was a veteran of the the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. McKenzie really enjoyed playing bingo. He loved life and was a Christian man.

Mr. McKenzie is survived by a daughter, Jennifer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and three sisters, Carolyn Duckworth of Maryland, Brenda Wilson of Dothan and Sandra Letteri of West Virginia.
