GARY  MORRIS  CLARK

DOTHAN…Gary Morris (Buddy) Clark, a resident of Dothan, died late Saturday afternoon, June 08, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. He was 78.

            Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Orrin Barrett and Reverend C.M. Holloway officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Mr. Clark was born in Malvern and moved with his family to Dothan as a young adult. He was a 1954 graduate of Dothan High School and attended Wallace Community College. Mr. Clark retired from the Air National Guard in Dothan in 1991 as a Radio Technician. In earlier years, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Clark was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church and was a former member of the Dothan Elks Lodge. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Clark and Matilda Martin Clark, and a daughter, Vickie Childree Hill.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Nora Vinson Clark; a daughter, Cathy Grubbs (Robert), a son, Gregory Childree, all of Dothan; a brother, Jimmy Clark, Troy; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
