Gelette Payne Bronson, age 82, of Dothan passed away Monday, October 6, 2014.

 

Born October 24, 1931 in Old Town, FL to the late Joe Lee and Glenna Mae Webb Payne, Mrs. Bronson was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Honeysuckle Church of Christ for many years and enjoyed helping people. She also loved to cook, fish, and work in her garden.

 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bronson is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph W. Bronson, Sr., two sisters and one brother.

 

Survivors include her sons, Tim (Glenda) Bronson of Dothan, Scott (Robin) Bronson of Springhill, FL, and Warren (Rosemary) Bronson of Moonlake, FL; her sister, Alva Davis of Tarpon Springs, FL; her brothers, Charlie Payne of Sopchoppy, FL and Joe Payne of Springhill, FL; her grandchildren, Tiffini Bronson, Brittney Bronson, Tiffany Bronson, Christina Rueb, Mitch Bronson, and Drew Bronson; her great-grandchildren, Bella Bronson and Olivia Rueb.

 

The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 4 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
