Mr. George Earl Castleberry of Enterprise passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 78.

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Huey Anderson officiating. Burial will follow with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

George was born October 28, 1936, in Covington County, to the late Eddie Lee and Daisey South Castleberry.  He was an avid Alabama fan and loved all Alabama sports.

Survivors include a daughter, Anne Krug of Tallahassee, FL; a son, Thomas Dwight Capps of New Brockton, AL; 5 sisters: Delma Jeter of Haines City, FL, Zelma Bennett of Red Level, AL, Erma Nell Patterson of Red Level, AL, Maybelle Williams of Andalusia, AL, and Rosie Lee of Clanton, AL; a grandchild, Karen D.C. Anderson (Jamey W.).
