Mr. George Steven Jordan of Geneva passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 after an extended illness. He was 63. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.

In Steve’s early years he worked building mobile homes. Later on he became an over the road truck driver. A serious work accident caused him to be disabled the rest of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Jewell Jordan and his son, Jason Von Jordan.

Survivors include his father, Donald C. Jordan of Dothan; siblings, Mae Wilson of California, Jewell Silvey of Geneva, Don Jordan and Gary Jordan of California, Robin Brackins of Dothan and Jennifer of Florida; two daughters, Sally, Florida and Sarah of Las Vegas, NV; other extended family members and many good friends.
