Gerald David Brooks of Level Plains passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at his residence.  He was 65.

Memorialization will be by cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.

Mr. Brooks was born September 22, 1949 in rural Coffee County.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Vera Emanuel “P.D.” and Winnie Mae Wyatt Brooks; three brothers: Robert, Mickey, and Mike Brooks; and a sister, Christine Becker.

He is survived by three sisters: Helen Kirkland, Betty Wheeler, and Terri Brooks, all of Enterprise, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jane Clancy, Jane’s Animal Rescue, 614 Wildwood Loop, Daleville, AL 36322, or to an animal charity of your choice.
