Gertrude Marie Shockley of Hartford passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Hartford Health Care. She was 91.

 

Funeral services will be held at 12pm Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at the funeral home.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alvie O. Shockley; two sons, Alvie and Larry Shockley.

 

Survivors include four grandchildren, Michael and John Shockley, Trudy Awl, and Amanda Shockley; several great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Rita Shockley.
