Mrs. Glenda Jean Howard, of Dothan, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016. She was 63.
Born February 22, 1953 in Columbus, GA to the late Arthur Glenn and Christine Hall Steele, Glenda was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She loved to cook, watch old movies, read and listen to music. She enjoyed fishing and was an avid Alabama football fan. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Howard; her daughter, Brooke Cameron; her son, Matthew (Kelly) Howard; her sisters, Jo (Tim) Moody and Ginny Welch; her brother, Tim (Kelly) Lynn; her grandchildren, Bradford Cameron, Helayna Cameron, Mary Jillian Howard, and Allison Cameron.
Funeral services will be held at 5 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stacy Stafford officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 5 PM, one hour prior to the service.
The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org
