Glenn E. Bush, age 55, a resident of Dothan passed away Thursday August 14, 2014 at a local hospital.


Graveside services with military honors will be held 10am (EST) Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.


Glenn was born August 23, 1958 in Columbus, Georgia and he was a 1976 graduate of Columbus High School. He attended Livingston State College before joining the United States Navy. Glenn served as a gunners mate for fourteen years before he was honorably discharged in 1991. He returned to Columbus Georgia and was employed with Jay Pontiac as a salesman and later moved to Charleston, South Carolina and then back to Columbus. Glenn was a truck driver of several years and he moved to Dothan in 2002. He loved Auburn Football, bass fishing and golf. Glenn was an active member of NRA. He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Bush.


Survivors include, his wife, Vickie Westhoff; his son, Jacob Bush; two step-sons, Jay Westhoff and Casey Westhoff; his step-daughter, Brandi Westhoff; his mother, Linda Bush; two brothers, Bobby Bush and Tommy Bush; three sisters, Libby Housand, Cathy Bush, and Becky Boyd; lifetime close childhood friend Randy Idland and beloved pet Dixie Lee Bush.
