Mr. Gordon Irvin (Buddy) Spence, Jr., age 60, a resident of Daleville, died Monday October 12, 2015 at the Signature Health Care in Graceville, Florida following a brief illness.

Glover Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services and no memorial service will be held at this time.

Mr. Spence was born on April 21, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana the son of Gordon Irvin Spence, Sr. and Louise Holtz Spence.  He was a carpenter for most of his adult life and he was a 1973 graduate of Baker High School in Baker, Florida.  He enjoyed canoeing.

He was preceded in death by his mother; wife, Brenda Lee Spence; sister, Angie Rowell and his father-in-law, James Edgar Bryant.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Gordon (Sunny) I. Spence III(Heather), Daleville; Jerime Lee Spence (Christy), Daleville; father, Gordon Irvin Spence, Sr., Crestview, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Masyn Spence, Brenda Spence, Jeremiah Spence, and Riley Spence; sister, Mary Shockley, Maryland; 2 brothers, Thomas Vincent Spence, Cantonment, Florida; Sean Marcus Spence, Crestview, Florida
