Harold Dees, of Dothan, Alabama, died on December 14, 2016 following a long battle with cancer.

Harold was born June 18, 1954 in Enterprise, Alabama. He attended Enterprise High School and served in the U.S. Army for 19 years.

Harold is survived by his companion, Shelly Coleman, his sons Naaman Dees, and Joseph Dees, daughter, Lena Dees, sisters, Mary Griffin and Linda Taylor, and brother Lennie Dees.

Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Dees Whitehurst, grandparents, Florence Dees and Shelly Dees, and brothers James Whitehurst and Robert Whitehurst.

In honor of his wishes, no public service will be held at this time. A family memorial to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Thank you for your well wishes and prayers.
