Harriett Tillman Terry of Ozark, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday October 30, 2015 at the age of 78 after an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the Chapel of Searcy Funeral Home in Enterprise, AL with Pastor Scott Hannen officiating.  Her burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Glory To Him Church, 6193 Andrews Avenue 36360.


Harriett was a graduate of Troy University with a Master of Education.  She taught for many years in the Enterprise and Ozark school systems.  Her deep love for Jesus Christ overflowed to her beloved family, her church and her many friends.  She was a director of Road To Recovery at Glory To Him Church where she served as an elder.


She was preceded in death by her parents Horace Eugene Tillman and Jesse Nell Bonner.


Survivors include her husband of 60 years Paul Terry Sr., one son Paul Terry Jr. of Ozark, AL; two daughters, Vicki Stayton (Jeff) of Spotsylvania, VA;  Karren Lewis (Fred) of Enterprise, AL, one brother James Tillman of Marietta, GA; grandchildren Derek Lewis of Auburn, AL; Lynsi Lewis of San Diego, CA; Rachel Stayton of Richmond, VA; and Jessica Stayton of Denver, CO.


Harriett will be loved and missed by many!
