Helga A. Murray, age 85, of Daleville, AL, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. John McCollough officiating.  Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time, at the funeral home on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Daleville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 44 S. Daleville Ave., Daleville, AL 36322.

Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Murray, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Anja B. Smith (David); Gerry M. Eggers (Paul) both of Cape May, NJ; Kristin K. Thorne, Daleville, AL; sons, Steven F. Murray (Sara), Opelika, AL; Kenneth M. Murray, Faunsdale, AL; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
