Hilda Jean Nichols of Enterprise passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.  She was 81.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at The Grace Place with Reverend Donnie Thrasher officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:00 and continuing until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30326.

Hilda was born October 17, 1934 in Purvis, Mississippi to the late Ozrow and Netty Rouse Smith.  She was a member of The Grace Place.

In addition to her parents, three brothers and a daughter, Jeanne Marie Nichols, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Gordon Nichols, Enterprise; one daughter, Tina Marie Nichols, Gainesville, GA; two sons: Roy Edward Nichols, Enterprise, Tylor William Nichols, Enterprise; daughter-in-law, Cindy L. Class of Enterprise; one grandchild, Penny L. Martinez (Victor); four great-grandchildren: Bethany, Jordan, Alex and Robert.
