Hinton D. Hall, 68, died unexpectedly at his home in the Perry Store community on Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was born on July 29, 1946.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Rhodes Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Enterprise YMCA, PO Box 310700, Enterprise, AL 36331 or to a charity of choice.

Hinton Hall graduated as a member of the Opp Class of 64, playing on the football team that went undefeated. An injury shortened his football career at Auburn University, and he graduated with a BS degree in Textile Management. After 10 years in the management ranks of Talon, Division of Textron, he returned to Enterprise in 1979 to pursue the great American dream of starting a business and incorporated Dura-Cast, Inc., a manufacturer of die castings. He began with one die casting machine in a barn producing inertia seatbelt weights for Fisher Body. His entrepreneurship led the company in growth, producing custom castings with tolerances of 1/10,000 of an inch and each machine casting a different part for a different customer-including Fortune 500 companies across the United States, Canada, and England. The four building complex in the North Industrial Park now includes casting and assembly.

Hinton loved his family, Auburn Football and his employees. He stayed on the production floor more than in his office, and each day he woke up – he claimed it as a gift from God.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ouida Bedsole Hall and father, Wilbur Henry Hall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J. Robert Wise and Nell G. Wise and brother-in-law, Bob Wise.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Wise Hall; his son, Mike Hall of Wicksburg; his brother Will Hall of Opp; his sister, Pat Springer (Joe) of Montgomery; grandsons, Aubrey Hall, Connor Hall, and Bryce Hall; brother-in-law, Paul Wise of Montgomery; sister-in-law, Meta Campbell (Byron) of Scaly Mountain, NC; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
