Howard “Gordon” Free of Enterprise, AL, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Flowers Hospital.  He was 55.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 9, 2013, Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Albritton and Rev. Glenn Crumpler officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, AL, with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30PM until service time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Judy Free.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Baxley Free, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Corey Free Mercer (Chase), Enterprise; grandson, Colt Mercer; aunt and uncle, Sam and Jackie Free, Pensacola, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerome and Peggy Baxley, Elba, AL; brother-in-law, Danny Baxley (Laura), Elba, AL; special cousins, Debbie Fleming (Jerry) and Beth Kelly (Gary).
