Ida Jane Peterman, age 77 passed away October 5, 2014. Mrs. Peterman, a resident of Dothan, was a beautician, previous owner of Modern Beauty Salon & lover of the nearby beaches. After an illness confined her to her home, she sought the pleasures around her such as family visits, her dogwood trees, azaleas, & her faithful Chihuahua companion, Sockey.

 

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert Peterman; daughter, Linda Skvasik Green & grandson Ian Green of Atlanta; son, Joseph Skvasik, wife Donna Skvasik of Cowarts & granddaughter, Brandi Skvasik Whittaker & son DeAndre Smith of Dothan along with several nieces, nephews, grand/great-grandchildren & step-sons, Bruce, Keith & Tim Peterman. Other survivors are sisters Doris Shelly, Edna Warrick & Catherine Johnston.

 

She was preceded in death by her son Tony Lozon, her sister Carol Chapman & her mother Ollie Oliver.

 

Graveside services will be held at Garden of Memories on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11 AM.
