Inez Davis Cochran of Geneva, AL passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. She was 74.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Thomas Ealum and Rev. Dean Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Cochran was born in Holmes County, FL on December 18, 1941 to the late Alexsander and Lizzie Davis Dady. Inez was an excellent cook and loved to sing. She was also a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, George Davis; one son, Hank Davis; one grandson, Richard Davis; one brother, Charlie Dady; two sisters, Francis Gilmore, and Mozelle Watson.

She is survived by her husband, David Cochran of Geneva; two daughters, Janice Davis of Elba, and Brenda Goodwin of Samson; one son, Jack Davis (Shannon) of Geneva; five step-children: Angel Hewett (Dennis), David Cochran (Charity), Dennis Wayne Cochran (Brittney), Melissa Slay (Ronnie) and Patrick Cochran:  two sisters, Willie Mae Biggs (Buddy) of Westville, FL, and Mary Scott of Panama City, FL; nine grandchildren; and a number of special great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
