Long, Jack D – of Callaway, FL and Ozark, AL formerly of Flint, MI, age 59, made his transition to the next life October 15, 2014 at his residence.  Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Jack was born June 7th, 1955 in Flint, MI to the late Edward B. Long and Mary Lorraine (Bonno) Long.  Jack was a master mechanic and a real ‘car guy’, he loved anything that had to do with cars of the ‘Motor City’.  Jack was a generous and helpful person who never knew a stranger.
Jack is survived by his wife of 37 years Donna (Morris) Long and his ‘pet children’ Britnee, Angel, and Misty, brothers and sisters Kay (Ed) Daniel, Edward (Diana) Long, Jr, Janet Brant, Suzie Long, Thomas (John Cartier) Long, lots & lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother John Elford, sister-in-law Christa Elford, father-in-law Keith Morris.
A memorial service to honor Jack’s life will take place in Michigan at a later date.  If desired, donations can be made to the animal rescue charity of your choice.
