Mr. Jack Harold Speed of New Brockton, Alabama passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at his residence. He was 85. 

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Jack was born on December 18, 1929 in Geneva County. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois White Speed, his parents Fate and Annie Speed, one sister, Genella Scott, one brother, James Speed; great-great-grandchild, Jaxon Culbert.

Survivors include one son, Jim Speed (Patti), two daughters, Jill Speed Owens Henderson (Gary), Jan Speed Chapman (Don), one sister, Vonceil Nichols (Tom), brother-in-laws, Bennie C. Beckham (Geraldine), Ellis Scott (Genella), 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
