Mr. Jack Hubbell Morrell of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at SAMC.  He was 90.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Rodger Lee officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 – 12:00.

Mr. Morrell was born August 1, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Everett George and Gladys May Hubbell Morrell.  He was a retired Merchant Marine Captain having worked for Exxon – Mobile for 45 years.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Fleenor Morrell of Enterprise; 2 sons: Samuel Eugene Hunter (Vickie) of Enterprise and Jackie Lee Hunter (Ronda) of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
