            Jack (Sam) Bryan, Jr. of Daleville, AL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 10, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.  He was 91.

            Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 12 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory.  Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 until 3 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family would like to show their appreciation by requesting donations be made to First Choice Hospice, 966 Claxton Ave. N., Elba, AL 36323.

            Mr. Bryan was born September 3, 1921 in Dale County, AL to the late Jack A. and Lela Donnell Bryan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Laura Bryan and 2 sisters, Lenora Parrish and an infant sister.

            Survivors include his wife, Carlie Bryan and her children and grandchildren; a son, Ronnie Bryan (Brenda), Panama City Beach, FL; grandchild, Jessica Jones (Justin), Biloxi, MS; great-grandchildren: Hunter and Hailey Pohlmann and Jason Jones; and 1 nephew, Billy Ray Parrish (Brenda).
