Jackie Reeves, 56, a resident of Grimes passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan 36303.

Mr. Reeves was born May 10, 1959 in Coffee County and he resided there for forty-three years before moving to Dothan in 2002. Mr. Reeves was employed with the Dale County Road and Bridge Department serving as supervisor for the past 9 years. He served in the National Guard from 1977 until 1982 and was a member of the Carmichael Masonic Lodge in Enterprise where he served as secretary for the lodge.

Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his brother David Sullivant; his grandparents, Irvin and Lulla Mae Bradshaw.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Reeves; sister-in-law, Linda Adkins and her friend Phillip Horne; his mother Nora Davis; his daughters, Ginger Reeves and her friend Kristie, Jackie Smith; his brother John Sullivant; his sister, Carol (Tommy) Youngblood; grandchildren, Marly Smith, Harper Smith, Landon Reeves, Sydney Woodham, and Tristan Woodham; his uncle, Ray (Shirley) Bradshaw; several nieces and nephews.
