HEADLAND…Jacquelyn Givens (Jackie) Leddon, a resident of Headland, died Thursday morning, June 4, 2015, at her home. She was 59.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 7, 2015, in the Abbeville United Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Greene and Reverend Dr. Robert C. Yawn officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the Abbeville United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “Celebrate Recovery Ministry” of the Abbeville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 100, Abbeville, Alabama 36310.

            Jackie Leddon was a native of Columbus, Georgia and moved with her family as a child to Miami, Florida. She was a 1974 graduate of Headland High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from Wallace Community College. She formerly lived in Dothan and Huntsville before returning to Headland in 2008. Jackie was retired from Medical Management. She was preceded in death by her father, Byrd Givens and a brother, John Givens.

            Jackie was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church. While living in Hunstville, she was a member of the Executive Women’s International, the Huntsville Community Chorus, the Business Network International and various other community activities.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Ronald Keith (Ron) Leddon, Headland; a daughter, Shelley Lybarger (Craig), Madison, AL; three sons, Aaron Leddon, Dothan; Benjamin Robbins (Jessica), Huntsville, AL; and Colby Leddon, Dothan; her mother, Frances (Frankie) Shelley Givens, Headland; a brother, Joel Givens, Miami, FL; a sister-in-law, Janice Givens, Dothan; seven grandchildren, Caroline Robbins, Eliza Lybarger, Harrison Leddon, Lily Leddon, Shyann Leddon, Jasmine Williford, and Jasmine Sands; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Ryan Blalock, Dr. Wade Whatley, David Money, Denny Weber, Mark Smith, and Tom Wojtala.
