James Andrew Kiger, age 40 of Ozark, AL, passed away, Friday, June 26, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2015 at Daleville Baptist Church with Rev. Derrick Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Daleville Memorial Garden cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Enterprise on Sunday, June 28^th from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

James was #52 on the Auburn football team at Auburn University. He played the position of center from 1993 until 1996 and he was a member of the 1993 undefeated team.  He was an assistant coach at G. W. Long High School.  He was the owner of Larry’s Barbeque in Ozark.

Survivors include his wife, Karrie Sellers Kiger; daughter, Kayla Kiger; son, Brett Kiger, all of Ozark, AL; his mother, Julianne Kiger, Enterprise, AL; his father, Kenneth Kiger, Ocean Springs, Washington; sister, Annette Kiger, Opelika, AL; brother, Jeff Kiger, Huntsville, AL; sister, Elizabeth Kiger, Enterprise, AL; several nieces and nephews.
