Mr. James E. Williams, age 86, of Dothan passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Graceville, FL.


 


Born October 14, 1927 in Cottonwood to the late Oscar and Ada Barnes Williams, Mr. Williams served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and was also a member of Woodmen of the World.


 


Survivors include his wife, Metha Jo Williams of Dothan; his step-son, Terry Joe (Sondra Ellen) Free of Dothan; his grandchildren, James Anthony Free, Brandon (Rebecca) Free, Greg Free, and Kellie (Terry) Stanley; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Gantt officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Monday, October 6, 2014 at the funeral home.


 


The family will be accepting flowers.
