James H. Yelverton of Daleville, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at SE Alabama Medical Center. He was 77.

     Mr. Yelverton was preceded in death by his parents, Porter T. and Maisie Yelverton and brother, Ewell Yelverton.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 13, 2012, at County Line Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM.

     Survivors include his wife, Dorothy J. Yelverton, Daleville, AL; 2 sons, Scott (Lisa) Yelverton, Enterprise, AL, Steve Yelverton (Sherrie), Andalusia, AL; 2 sisters, Helen Miller, Enterprise, AL, Lucille Byrd, Enterprise, AL; brother, Jerry Yelverton, Daleville; and 4 grandchildren, Codie Yelverton, Ashley Yelverton, Tyler Yelverton and Seth Yelverton.
