Obituary:  James Raymond Adams

 

              Mr. James Raymond Adams of Fairhope, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. He was 77.


            Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Shirlie Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery (Hartford) with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise Directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm.

            Mr. Adams was born January 13, 1937 in Geneva County to the late Charlie and Eunice Adams. He worked in the construction industry.  In addition to his parents, his wife, Clara M. Cotton Adams preceded him in death.

            Survivors include one son, James Rodney Adams, Pensacola, FL; four daughters, Debra Yohn (Kenneth), New Brockton, Paula M. Senn, Enterprise, Tammie Adkins (Kerry), New Brockton, Jennifer Lambert ( Mike), Fairhope; four sisters, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
