Jan Taylor Lee of Dothan, AL passed away peacefully with her family at her side on May 11, 2013.

 

Jan was born to her parents, Charles and Jean Taylor, on February 21, 1958. Jan was raised in Dothan and graduated from Houston Academy. In 1990, Jan was blessed with the birth of her son, Garrett, with her former husband, Bryan Lee. She was very passionate about gardening and loved her many pets.

 

Jan is preceded in death by both of her parents and her oldest brother, Charlie Taylor.

 

Jan is survived by her son, Garrett Lee, a senior at the University of Alabama, two brothers, Stewart Taylor (Lisa) of Jacksonville, FL and Randy Taylor of Destin, FL, two sisters, Cathy Howell (Rick) of Orlando, FL and Pat White (Scott) of Dothan, Al, and many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Lee will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1380 W. Main St. Dothan, AL 36301.
