Mrs. Jean Cook of Level Plains passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was 90.

 

Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Chaplain Michael Dease officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 2:00 and continuing until departure for the cemetery.

 

Mrs. Cook was born April 17, 1926, in Enterprise, Alabama. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Cook; her parents, Jake and Ophelia Grant Kyser; two sons; and one daughter.

 

Survivors include two daughters: Flora Shaffer of Daleville and Elmer Jo Hale of Enterprise; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
